Tour Description:
Admire unbeatable views of Luxor's famous temples with this thrilling sunrise hot air balloon flight over the Nile River's West Bank.
Following a safety briefing and introduction to your ground crew and pilot, you'll rise gently into the still-dark sky. As you take off, your pilot will point out all areas of interest, including the ancient tombs and monuments below.
To the east you'll see the sprawling Temple of Karnak greeting the morning sun, while to the west stands the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple. Enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Colossi of Memnon rising from the crop fields and, winds permitting, fly over the Ramesseum for an unrivaled aerial view of the complex. In the distance, the hidden Valley of the Queens rests peacefully in the mountains as you overlook the entire West Bank.
A support van and your landing crew will follow the flight and will be there to meet your landing and assist with disembarkation. Your hot air balloon flight will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes, and you'll be back at your hotel or cruise ship in time for breakfast and morning tour departures.
